Name: Thomas Collins though everyone but Angel at times calls him Collins

Age: 25

Appearance: Collins is a tall man, standing 6'3" and muscular, he looks menacing but is just a big teddy bear

History: Not much is known about his past so this is done with some liberties to give him some background. His father was a strict man, his mother was kind and he spent most of his time with her. At an early age Collins knew he was attracted to other men and not women. He decided to go into teaching and chose what he knew best, philosophy and does pretty well at it. He's had many up and down relationships none really lasting thought not that he didn't try. He had one he thought loved him at one time but soon found out he wasn't their only one, when he confronted him he was dumped. He found out soon after he was HIV+ and learned to deal with it. He hasn't let it get him down. He had a teaching job at MIT but soon lost it when they disagreed with his teachings and returned to New York. At that point he had given up on finding love and had accepted that. Then one December 24th when he returned from MIT he was jumped and mugged, and was then found by Angel Dumott Shunard. Angel took him home and took care of him and the two soon fell in love. He's been happy ever since, save when he almost lost Angel. Now he teaches at NYU and is happily still with Angel whom he will marry soon. He's a very caring man, a gentle giant, unless someone harms his lover or those he cares about then people will see a side of him none have seen.

He has several close friends whom he cares greatly about: his Angel, Roger Davis, Mimi Marquez, Maureen Johnson, Mark Cohen,Joanne Jefferson, and Bejamin Coffin III whom he made amends with after he paid Angel's hospital bill, and Angel's adopted little brother Chase Benton whom Collins has unofficially taken responsibility on keeping straightened out and on the right track.
